DEMING – The Deming Cesar Chavez Charter High School Governing Council will hold its regular board meeting Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m. in Room 14 at the school, 315 E. First St. The public may also attend through Zoom.
The council is scheduled to receive reports from the Student Equity Council, school director, dean of students and several committees.
Action items include certification of fixed assets, approval of psychological services and consideration of budget adjustment requests involving work-study programs with the City of Deming and Luna County.
The agenda also includes a report on the school’s community food distribution program and a limited public-comment period of 15 minutes.
