DEMING – The Deming City Council has rescheduled its upcoming meeting, moving it one week later than originally planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
City Manager Aaron Sera told Deming News the change was made to allow city staff to attend mandatory training sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting will now take place Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 1275 E. Pine Street in Deming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
City officials say public comment will be held prior to the meeting from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Residents who wish to speak must sign up between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. At this time, public comment will not be available virtually and must be made in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
City representatives say this updated public comment process will begin with the March 24 meeting and continue moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
