DEMING – Deming High School has been recognized for strong academic growth in both literacy and mathematics during the 2024\u20132025 school year, placing the school among the top large high schools in New Mexico for improvement in student performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to recent academic data, Deming High School recorded a 12.5 percent increase in literacy proficiency. That improvement ranks the school among the top large schools in the state, defined as campuses with more than 800 students, for literacy growth during the school year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deming High Principal Gasper Lozano told Deming Radio News that the improvements reflect ongoing efforts by teachers, administrators, and students to strengthen academic achievement and expand learning opportunities in core subject areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
