The events began Monday evening when the district issued a parental notification addressing an online rumor that incorrectly claimed there would be no school on Tuesday due to teacher professional development. School officials clarified at that time that the information was not accurate and that classes would take place according to the normal schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Concerns resurfaced again Tuesday morning when additional social media posts circulated claiming there was a potential safety risk involving several local schools. District administrators worked closely with local law enforcement to review the situation and determined there was no verified threat. Schools continued operating on a regular schedule, and additional safety measures were implemented as a precaution, including increased supervision and coordination with police presence on campuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
