DEMING – The 8th Annual Great American Skateboard Competition will help kick off Great American Duck Race weekend on Thursday, Aug. 20.
The competition begins at 6 p.m. at Starmax Skate Park, 217 N. Country Club in Deming. On-site registration opens at 5 p.m., and online registration is also available through the Great American Duck Race website.
Baseline Surveying is sponsoring this year’s skate competition.
The skateboard competition is part of the 47th Annual Great American Duck Race, scheduled Aug. 20 through 23 in Deming. Organizers say questions about the competition may be directed to 575-494-2074.
