Spellbound Success: Deming Students Shine at District Spelling Bee

DEMING – Two local students are being recognized for their spelling skills after competing in the District Spelling Bee.

Maximus Bollier-Quarrell, an eighth grader at Red Mountain Middle School, earned first place in the competition. Finishing in second place was Uriel Contreras, a sixth grader at Deming Intermediate School.

School officials say the event highlighted the hard work and academic dedication of students across the district. Congratulations to both Maximus Bollier-Quarrell and Uriel Contreras for their outstanding achievements in this year’s District Spelling Bee.
