DEMING – Several arrests and one criminal damage report were included in recent local law enforcement activity reported by the Deming Police Department and the Luna County Detention Center.
According to the reports, Matthew Davidson, 52, listed as homeless, was arrested on a charge of battery upon a health care worker. Tracy Blackwell, 56, was arrested on a Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear, with no bond listed. Rene Garcia, 31, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, battery and a probation violation arrest order, with no bond listed.
Also arrested were Lyndsey Mendieta, 29, on a charge of battery against a household member; Jessica Aguilar, 35, on charges of disorderly conduct and interference with officers; Denson Saenz, 41, on a charge of driving under the influence of liquor; and Isaac Escarcega, 30, on charges of aggravated DWI, first offense with a blood alcohol concentration of .16 or more, and racing on highways.
In a separate report, Carlos Ransdell, 32, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct, and Lorenzo Trevizo, 29, was arrested on a charge of false imprisonment.
Police also reported a criminal damage to property case involving a 2013 Honda Civic. According to the report, a windshield was vandalized while the vehicle was parked at the Deming Fire Department parking lot on May 30. Damage was estimated at $300.
All persons mentioned are innocent until the possibility of being found guilty by a court.
