DEMING \u2013<\/strong> Deming High School has announced its Wildcat Orientation Week schedule for students returning for the 2026-2027 school year.<\/p>\n

Orientation will be held July 13 through July 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with each class assigned a specific day.<\/p>\n

Sophomores will attend Monday, July 13, followed by juniors on Tuesday, July 14, seniors on Wednesday, July 15, and freshmen on Thursday, July 16.<\/p>\n

During orientation, students will receive their class schedules and student identification cards, check out their school-issued laptops, meet with counselors, request schedule changes if needed, and tour the campus to locate classrooms before the first day of school.<\/p>\n

Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend to help students become familiar with the campus and the orientation process.<\/p>\n

Students who are unable to attend their assigned day may participate in a make-up period July 17 through July 24 to pick up resources and request schedule changes, although school officials note that wait times may be longer during the make-up period.<\/p>\n

The final day to request schedule changes is July 31.<\/p>\n

Deming High School officials say they look forward to welcoming students back for the new school year.<\/p>\n
