DEMING \u2013<\/strong> The Southwestern New Mexico State Fair is calling on local artists, crafters, quilters, bakers, gardeners and other talented community members to showcase their work during this year\u2019s fair in Deming.<\/p>\n

Organizers say the fair\u2019s Exhibit Building will feature youth and adult divisions with categories covering a wide variety of talents and interests. Entries can include photography, paintings, crafts, vegetables, baked goods, quilts, ceramics and more.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you created it or grew it, there\u2019s a category for it,\u201d organizers said in announcing the call for exhibits.<\/p>\n

Residents wishing to participate should bring their exhibits to Building 1 at the Southwestern New Mexico State Fairgrounds on Wednesday, October 7, from 1 to 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

The annual exhibits provide local residents of all ages an opportunity to display their creativity, handiwork, baking skills and homegrown products as part of the Southwestern New Mexico State Fair.<\/p>\n
