DEMING – Recent arrests by local law enforcement have resulted in multiple individuals being taken into custody on a variety of charges ranging from outstanding warrants to assault and drug-related offenses, according to a newly released media report from authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Authorities report that Carlos Lugo, 23<\/strong>, was arrested on a Luna County Magistrate Court warrant for kidnapping, aggravated battery against a household member, bribery of a witness, and battery against a household member. Officials indicated Lugo is being held without bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a separate case, Tiffany Harris, 34<\/strong>, was arrested and charged with three counts of battery upon a peace officer, concealing identity, and criminal trespass following an incident involving law enforcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Also taken into custody was Jose Alberto Ornelas, 36<\/strong>, who was arrested on a Grant County Magistrate Court warrant for failure to comply with conditions of release.
