DEMING – Law enforcement activity was reported late this morning in a residential area of Deming as state authorities investigate an officer-involved shooting involving federal agents.<\/div>\n

According to a statement released by the New Mexico State Police, officers responded to the 200 block of Cedar Street where there is currently an active police presence.<\/div>\n

The incident involves the U.S. Marshals Service, and the New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau has been called in to conduct the investigation.<\/div>\n
