DEMING – Voters in Luna County are already requesting absentee ballots ahead of the 2026 election cycle.<\/p>\n

According to absentee ballot request data dated May 23, Luna County had 526 total absentee ballot requests.<\/p>\n

The county total includes 323 requests from registered Democrats, 128 from registered Republicans, and 75 from voters registered as decline-to-state. The report listed no absentee ballot requests from Luna County voters registered with other parties.<\/p>\n

Luna County includes Deming, Columbus and other communities throughout the county.<\/p>\n

Statewide, the report showed 69,069 absentee ballot requests across New Mexico. Of those, 46,171 were from registered Democrats, 15,818 from registered Republicans, 6,491 from decline-to-state voters, and 589 from voters registered with other parties.<\/p>\n

Voters are encouraged to check with the Luna County Clerk\u2019s Office or the New Mexico Secretary of State\u2019s Office for official election deadlines, absentee ballot information and voting locations.<\/p>\n
