DEMING – Deming High School has announced its Wildcat Orientation Week schedule for students returning for the 2026-2027 school year.
Orientation will be held July 13 through July 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with each class assigned a specific day.
Sophomores will attend Monday, July 13, followed by juniors on Tuesday, July 14, seniors on Wednesday, July 15, and freshmen on Thursday, July 16.
During orientation, students will receive their class schedules and student identification cards, check out their school-issued laptops, meet with counselors, request schedule changes if needed, and tour the campus to locate classrooms before the first day of school.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend to help students become familiar with the campus and the orientation process.
Students who are unable to attend their assigned day may participate in a make-up period July 17 through July 24 to pick up resources and request schedule changes, although school officials note that wait times may be longer during the make-up period.
The final day to request schedule changes is July 31.
Deming High School officials say they look forward to welcoming students back for the new school year.
