DEMING – Families and fans will be able to attend every regular-season home athletic event at Deming High School and Red Mountain Middle School without paying admission during the 2026-2027 school year.
The new program covers regular-season home contests in football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, wrestling, tennis, golf, cross country and other school-sponsored sports.
The effort was made possible through a partnership involving Luna County government and opioid remediation funding approved by the Deming Board of Education. School officials said the goal is to remove financial barriers for local families, encourage community attendance and provide a safe, welcoming and substance-free environment for students and spectators.
The free-admission program applies only to regular-season home events. NMAA postseason championship events are not included.
