DEMING – The Southwestern New Mexico State Fair is calling on local artists, crafters, quilters, bakers, gardeners and other talented community members to showcase their work during this year’s fair in Deming.
Organizers say the fair’s Exhibit Building will feature youth and adult divisions with categories covering a wide variety of talents and interests. Entries can include photography, paintings, crafts, vegetables, baked goods, quilts, ceramics and more.
“If you created it or grew it, there’s a category for it,” organizers said in announcing the call for exhibits.
Residents wishing to participate should bring their exhibits to Building 1 at the Southwestern New Mexico State Fairgrounds on Wednesday, October 7, from 1 to 6 p.m.
The annual exhibits provide local residents of all ages an opportunity to display their creativity, handiwork, baking skills and homegrown products as part of the Southwestern New Mexico State Fair.
