DEMING – Deming Public Schools is asking students and parents to participate in a districtwide survey aimed at identifying the challenges and barriers that contribute to student absenteeism.
District officials said consistent attendance is an important part of student success. Information gathered through the survey will help shape the District Attendance Improvement Plan and guide strategies intended to strengthen student engagement and reduce chronic absenteeism.
Responses will remain confidential and will be used only for district planning and decision-making. The survey takes approximately five to 10 minutes to complete and is available in both English and Spanish. It can be completed on a cellphone or nearly any other internet-connected device.
The survey is available at https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/vPjcDPLCsi or through the Deming Public Schools website at www.demingps.org.
Responses must be submitted by 5 p.m. Friday, September 25. Anyone with questions may call Deming Public Schools at 575-546-8841.
