Jose Luis Nevarez, 52, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Las Palmas Hospital in El Paso, TX.
Jose was born on August 25, 1973 in Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jorge Nevarez and Rosa Ledezma.
He is survived by his father; his companion, Nina Andrade; four sons, Luis Javier Nevarez and his wife Yoli of Deming, NM; Jose Angel Nevarez and his wife Yudit of Deming, NM; Aaron David Nevarez of Deming, NM and Eduardo Nevarez of Palomas, Mex.; two brothers, Ismael Nevarez and his companion Erica Pizarro of Columbus, NM and Jorge Nevarez Jr. of Palomas, Mex.; one sister, Morayma Nevarez and her husband Jose Luis Camarillo of Palomas, Mex.; and two grandchildren, Brayden Angel Nevarez and Dominic Alfredo Nevarez.
He is preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 9-10am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary beginning at 10am with Maria Lozano officiating. Funeral mass will then begin at 11am at St. Ann Catholic Church with Father Tony Basso officiating. Concluding services with an interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Luis Javier Nevarez, Jose Angel Nevarez, Aaron David Nevarez, Servando Calzadillas, Heraclio Nevarez and Edgar Nevarez.
