DEMING – The Southwestern New Mexico State Fair is inviting the public to its 2026 Cash Party, set for Saturday, August 8, at the Southwestern New Mexico State Fairgrounds.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for an evening featuring dinner, live entertainment, contests, raffles and cash prize drawings.
Tickets are $125 each and include a steak dinner for two along with drinks. Organizers say the event will feature cash prize drawings of $10,000 for first place, $1,500 for second place and $500 for third place.
Entertainment will include music by The Horizon Band until midnight, along with a live auction and 50/50 raffles.
Guests who purchase a Cash Party ticket will also be eligible to participate in several contests throughout the evening, including a mechanical bull riding competition, an 80s-themed Best Dressed Western Wear contest, and separate male and female dance competitions. Organizers say contestants must have purchased a Cash Party ticket to participate, and winners in each category will receive a commemorative belt buckle.
