DEMING – The Deming Police Department reported several arrests and criminal investigations from July 11 through July 14, including felony warrants, DWI, domestic violence, fraud, stolen property, aggravated assault and other offenses. The following individuals were arrested during the reporting period.
Fernando Ortiz, 37, was arrested July 11 and charged with aggravated first-offense DWI after allegedly refusing to submit to chemical testing, unlawful use of a revoked driver’s license, and battery against a household member.
Daniel Reyes, 53, was arrested July 11 and charged with receiving or transferring a stolen motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony. He was also arrested on an Eddy County Magistrate Court warrant for failure to appear on an original shoplifting charge.
Rondald Zarco-Snow, 32, was arrested July 11 and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was also taken into custody on a Luna County Magistrate Court warrant related to criminal damage to property involving a household member and a City of Deming Municipal Court warrant for failure to pay fines stemming from a shoplifting case.
Amber Rose Alfred, 28, was arrested July 12 and charged with misdemeanor fraud involving counterfeit bills and interference with officers.
