DEMING – The Deming Art Center will feature the work of three local artists during its August 2026 exhibit.
The exhibit will showcase pottery and clay flutes by Jeff Cooper, water-inspired paintings by Mary Jo Stenson, and creations by Deming High School art teacher Jesse Kriegel.
Cooper will present various coil-built pottery pieces along with handmade clay flutes designed to produce a Native American sound. Stenson’s artwork focuses on water in forms including clouds, rivers and mist. Kriegel will bring a collection of his distinctive and varied artistic creations.
The public will have an opportunity to meet the artists Sunday, August 2, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Deming Art Center, 100 S. Gold St.
Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
