DEMING – Deming Wildcat fans will have an opportunity to meet the players and coaches who will represent the community this football season during the annual “Meet the Cats” event this Saturday at Sisbarro Superstore.
The family-friendly event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and will give fans the chance to meet members of the 2026-2027 Deming Wildcat football team before the season begins. Players, coaches, families and supporters are all invited to attend.
Bravo Mic Communications will broadcast live from the event on KDEM The Mix 94.3 FM with John Krehbiel and Sports Director Danny Rodriguez, known to local fans as “The Voice of the Cats.” The live broadcast will feature interviews with coaches, players and community members as excitement builds for the upcoming season.
Visitors can enjoy free food, meet the Wildcats, and learn more about the upcoming football schedule. Organizers hope the event will bring the community together to show its support for Deming’s student-athletes before the first kickoff of the season.
Bravo Mic Communications will once again broadcast every Deming Wildcat football game on KDEM The Mix 94.3 FM throughout the season, providing live play-by-play coverage for fans across southwest New Mexico.
Community members are encouraged to wear their maroon and gold, come out to meet the team, and help send the Wildcats into the new season with strong hometown support.
