DEMING – The Deming Wildcats are hitting the road Friday night for an early-season rivalry battle as they travel to Silver City to take on the Silver Colts, with both teams looking for their first victory of the season.
The Wildcats enter Friday’s matchup with an 0-1 record and compete in Class 2-5A. Silver also comes into the rivalry game at 0-1 and competes in Class 2-3A.
Despite competing in different classifications, the Wildcats and Colts will renew their high school football rivalry under the Friday night lights in Silver City.
Kickoff between the Deming Wildcats and Silver Colts is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Sports Director Danny Rodriguez, the Voice of the Wildcats, will be in Silver City with all the live play-by-play action. Coverage begins at approximately 6:30 p.m. with the Coaches Pregame Show, followed by kickoff at 7.
