DEMING – The Deming César Chávez Charter High School Governing Council will hold its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 6 p.m. in Room 14 at the school, located at 315 East First Street in Deming.
The meeting will also be accessible to the public through Zoom.
According to the published agenda, council members will receive reports from the Student Equity Council, the school director and dean of students, along with updates from several committees, including finance, audit, academic planning, marketing and council development.
Among the discussion and possible action items are budget adjustment requests involving the CSI/MRI Grant and the Spanish Language Education Grant.
The council will also consider approval of professional service contracts with Genaro Kirker for psychological services and Lindsey Bulger for educational diagnostician services.
Additional business includes a report on the Community School Food Distribution Program and discussion of future governing council activities.
A public comment period is scheduled during the meeting, with a total time limit of 15 minutes.
The council is also expected to review and consider approval of minutes from its September 15 meeting.
The next regular governing council meeting is scheduled for November 10, 2026, at 6 p.m.
