DEMING – The Deming and Luna County Animal Shelter is inviting residents to meet dozens of adoptable puppies during its second Puppy Pawlooza Plus adoption event on Saturday, June 13th.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. inside Mimbres Valley Feed and Western Wear, located at 1410 Columbus Road in Deming.
Shelter officials say approximately 30 puppies will be available for adoption during the event. Holding the adoption event indoors will allow visitors and animals to stay cool and comfortable in the air-conditioned facility during the summer heat.
In addition to puppies, organizers say a few older loving dogs will be available to meet prospective families looking to add a new pet to their household.
Animals available for adoption will have spay or neuter certificates and vaccination records available, helping new owners get their pets off to a healthy start.
The shelter encourages families to consider adoption, noting that adopted pets not only gain a permanent home but also help create space for other animals in need of care.
Representatives from the shelter will be available to answer questions about pet care, adoption requirements and available animals.
Community members are encouraged to stop by, meet the puppies and learn more about the adoption process. Organizers say the event offers a great opportunity to find a new companion while supporting local animal welfare efforts.
The second Puppy Pawlooza Plus will take place Saturday, June 13th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. inside Mimbres Valley Feed and Western Wear at 1410 Columbus Road in Deming.
