DEMING – The Luna County Board of County Commissioners will hold a special meeting Monday morning to consider final budget matters for the upcoming fiscal year and a declaration of emergency related to hazardous flooding.
The meeting is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Monday, July 27, at the Luna County Courthouse.
Commissioners are expected to vote on final budget transfers, approve and certify the county’s fourth-quarter financial report, and consider adoption of the fiscal year 2026-2027 final budget.
Also on the amended agenda is Resolution 26-56, a proposed declaration of emergency relating to hazardous flooding.
The commission’s next public input work session is scheduled for August 13 at 1:30 p.m., followed by its regular meeting at 2:00 p.m.
