DEMING – The Great American Duck Race is just weeks away, returning to Deming Thursday, August 20 through Sunday, August 23.
This year marks the 47th Annual Great American Duck Race, with the 2026 theme, “Racing to the Great Outdoors.” The theme celebrates adventure, community and the natural beauty of the Deming area.
The official 2026 logo, created by local artist Jesse Kriegel, features imagery inspired by the region, including mountain ranges, desert scenery, colorful hot air balloons and a New Mexico sunset.
The theme and logo will appear throughout Duck Race weekend and will also provide inspiration for judging during the Duck Royalty Pageant and the Tournament of Ducks Parade.
The event is expected to bring residents and visitors together for four days of entertainment, food, community activities and, of course, the famous duck races.
