DEMING – The Deming Saddle Club will hold its next 2026 play day Saturday, September 19, at Cowboy Park, 695 Skyview Road in Deming.
Participants may enter the day of the event by 8:30 a.m., with activities scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. The competition will count toward the club’s year-end awards.
Events will include barrels, flags, poles, dummy roping and keyhole competitions. Age divisions include 6 and younger, 7 through 9, 10 through 13, and 14 through 18.
A leadline event will be offered for children 6 and younger for $10. Youngsters 5 and younger may also participate in a stick-horse race and balloon bust.
Deming Saddle Club membership fees are $30 for an individual or $50 for a family.
