Deming Police Report Three Recent Arrests

DEMING – The Deming Police Department has released information on three recent arrests made during separate incidents in early June.
According to police, 61-year-old Matthew Fitzgerald Rura was arrested June 5 and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass following an incident at the Best Western Motel on West Pine Street.

On June 6, officers arrested 36-year-old Benny Porter on a warrant charging him with false imprisonment, a fourth-degree felony.

In a separate incident, 31-year-old Christina Cordova-Bravo Ortiz was arrested June 9 and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass following an incident on South Gold Avenue.

All persons mentioned in this report are innocent until found guilty by a court of law.
