DEMING – The Deming City Council will hold a special meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 1275 E. Pine St. Three items are scheduled for consideration.
The council will consider a resolution authorizing the city to apply for funding through the New Mexico Environment Department’s strategic water supply grant program. Members will also consider a resolution authorizing participation in a transportation project fund program administered by the New Mexico Department of Transportation.
The final business item is a request from George “GG” Gore for an exception to the cemetery lot capacity limit. The agenda does not provide additional details about the request.
